About Nature Days Collective

Welcome to Nature Days Collective.

We’re a group of parents with a variety of backgrounds in education, learning and support work, working together to provide a space in nature where children can explore and learn freely according to their interests and gifts.

We are guided by the philosophies of Forest School and Unschooling. We are neither a school nor a daycare. We are a private space providing an environment, materials, resources, guidance and a community for homeschooling or unschooling families.

We are co-learners, guided by the children's questions, interests and passions. We value and protect the time and space for true play, which is freely led by the children and intrinsically motivated.

We do our best to ensure all children are safe, and we accept that risky play is part of healthy development. (Play with speed, heights, natural elements, rough & tumble, age appropriate tools)

Our instructors are trained in risk assessment and can help the children lower risk while still enjoying the activity and receiving the benefits from it.

We operate under the principles of personal liberty, sovereignty and informed consent. Freedom loving families are most welcome.
